The Effect of Non-surgical Periodontal Treatment on the Quality of Life of Patients With Moderate to Severe Periodontitis

Background: Compared to other oral conditions, the effect of periodontal diseases on quality life (QoL) has received less attention. Hence, present study aimed at determining changes in QoL related health patients with after non-surgical therapy. Methods: This clinical trial was conducted 60 (moderate severe periodontitis) referring periodontics department. The Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP) index questionnaire and OHIP-14 were completed for all order assess effects status daily activities before one month scaling root planning.
